February 2014

Busy...busy...busy! Some things never change.  These two little girls sure keep us on our toes.  Avery never stops talking and Kennedy never stops moving... although she still won't talk.  I am sure that once she starts talking it will be next to impossible for us to get a work in at all!

I can't believe that February is already over.  We had quite a packed month.  Aves and I had a impromptu 2 day Disney trip after a work trip was cancelled last minute.  We had a great time together and she has become quite the little girl.  She was on her best behavior with no little outbursts and she truly is a joy to be around.

Kennedy and Avery both love to be little artists.  As soon as the markers come out, Kennedy wants to color and draw just like her big sister.  In fact she wants to do just about everything that Avery does.  It is pretty cute to see her want to be just like Avery.

Aunt Boo has really taken up cooking with the two of them when she comes over to watch them at night.  Avery has always loved cooking with Aunt Boo and Nana but Kennedy has now become obsessed with it as well and will go get her chair and bring it over to the counter the minute Aunt Boo asks if she wants to come cook.
We also went to Big Bear for about 4 days with a bunch of friends.  We had a 4/3 house with 8 kids and 8 adults.  It was a packed house but we had a blast.  The kids had a great time playing, skiing, going in the jacuzzi, and playing games in the house.  The older kids did ski school and then private lessons while the wives and husbands took turns with the little ones.  It was a fun weekend and it will only get to be more fun and enjoyable as the little ones get a bit older.

Kennedy's hair continues to grow and we can not get it in a pony!

What a difference a year makes.
We had some fun visiting friends and going to a few parties.

And the girls started swim lessons.
And here are just some cute pictures:)

And of course, last but not least, Sophey and the girls - best buds forevor.  Kennedy does not like to have bowls on the floor so she stalks the dogs and cat waiting for them to finish so she can pick them up and put them away.  Love her OCD.  We have also taught her a bit of sign language for more and all done so she can communicate a bit since she won't talk.  She sure understands EVERYTHING but sure won't talk.  All in her own time.  Funny little quirky kid!
