Today is Wednesday. I am sitting in the airport waiting to get on a plane to go visit Grammy and Grandpa. Grammy has not been doing too well so I booked a last minute flight to go see her. My mom and Auntie Sue are already there. I will note that I started this journey at 7am this morning only to get to the airport and find out my flight was cancelled. So needless to say, I have been in the San Fran airport since about 11:30 am and I dont leave until 5:20 tonight. It's all worth it and I will get there eventually.
Since I had to go out of town, we found a doggie day care that Sophey goes to while I am gone. She loves it. You can actually go online and watch her on a webcam that they have at the facility. She pretty much never stops. If you want to watch her, go to http://www.doggieoasis.com/
Beckie came to visit this past weekend and brought Matty. Needless to say we had a great time and so did the dogs. I sure did a lot of cooking while she was here. We cooked a nice dinner on Saturday night and I felt like I did dishes forevor. The cooking part is not too bad but I enjoy going to a nice dinner rather than cooking one. I appreciate the food much more when I dont have to cook it and clean it up! It was nice to learn how to make some new things though. Beck sure is a good cook!
The rest of our furniture that we bought is being delivered tomorrow so when I get home this weekend it will all be there. Now all we need is window coverings rather than the cool sheets we have up right now. They do add character though. We are still looking for a paint color for our master bedroom. We have about 5-7 different colors all over our wall as wetry to decide on a color. They always say to paint a small area and then live it for awhile to see if you like it.
Well mom was out watching Sophey all last week. They had a good time and mom spend some time working on her "to come" when she is called. She ended up with a pretty nasty rope burn on her finger but Sophey has made great progress. We can now have her in the garage with the door open and she doesn's run off and when we go to the park and are ready to leave, we walk to the gate, call her, and she comes running.
I took mom to the airport on Saturday and then Ben and I did our normal run of errands. We went to Lowes and bought some ceiling fans and a shelf for the laundry room. Nothing has been hung up yet as we spent yesterday doing other things for the house so hopefully we will get some of the stuff hung up this week.
Beckie and Matty are coming out this weekend so I am sure Sophey will be very excited to see her boyfriend. Thats about all we have here. The weather is warming up so I can actually go outside without 5 layers of clothes on! Woo-Hoo!!!
Starting tomorrow, I have meetings at the Monte Carlo until Friday so Ben is going to stay with me at the hotel and mom is coming to watch Sophey. I am sure that she will have a fun time with her. Jan(Ben's mom), is taking Thursday and Friday off to hang with my mom since she doesn't know anyone out here.
I am sure it will be an eventful weekend full of trips to Petco and the dog park!

Each week we do something new to the house. I still think it will probably be about a year until we are completely done but we are on our way! We love visitors! Come and visit!
Welcome! As many of you know, we recently moved to Las Vegas away from many of our friends and family. We have relocated to Las Vegas for the next chapter of our lives and we are blessed to have Ben's family here. In order to keep everyone updated on our lives and what is going, we thought that we would start a blog so that you can all see what we are keeping busy with in the city that can be 20 degrees and 120 degrees depending on the time of year!
