Kennedy- she still won't talk much. She deliberately will tell you no if you ask her to talk. She knows exactly what you are saying and we are convinced that she can talk, but chooses not to. Her willfulness will sure help her later in life but for now, I just laugh it off and know that one day she will begin to talking in full sentences. Lately she has become quite the comedian and gets joy out of you pretending to be hurt. She thinks it is hilarious when you say "ow". She has officially become a consistent great sleeper. She goes to bed at 8 and wakes at 7. In fact I don't know when she wakes up since she makes no noise in the morning. We just wake up to her standing up in her crib with her blanket jammed in her mouth. She loves taking baths, loves to be independent and wants to do anything that Avery does. She also had her first ponytail! She has also become quite the climber!
Avery - still as sweet and loving as always. The things that come out of her mouth could really fill a book. I have had multiple friends tell me how well behaved she is and that they would take her anytime if I needed them to. She is so polite, always uses her manners and is so observant and notices the smallest change in your hair, outfit, room, or weather. Aunt Boo calls her a genius since she is the first born, keep thinking that Aunt Boo! Avery spent almost 10 days in Las Vegas with Abagee and did so good. It was the first time that she was gone alone that long but she had a blast. They went to visit Papa almost every day in the VA hospital and did some shopping, get manis and pedis, went the park, and played many games over and over and over. Ben drove both kids out, stayed a few days, flew home with Kennedy then left for a week to Hawaii for baseball. I stayed home with the kids then flew out the following Saturday, went to Stella's birthday party, then drove home with her. She also went to a birthday party at Lego-land on her own without us. It was her first big girl trip with someone other than family. She really is growing up. She decides what she wants to wear these days and pretty much gets ready on her own. She plays so well with her others but plays well alone too. She is the poster board child really. I just hope that she stays this way forever!!
