We had such a fun Easter this year. We went up to my sister in law Christi's parents house in Murrietta. They have a beautiful home with quite a bit of land to let the kiddos run wild on, with chickens and all. It's about a hour and half drive and Kennedy did great on the drive up and back. In fact on the way home, both kids and dogs were passed out within 10 minutes of being on the road. The kids had a great easter egg hunt and went in the jacuzzi and played dress up and even gave us a concert in Dawn's awesome gym! I can't wait until Avery and Kennedy are old enough to truly understand the meaning of Easter.
Here are some fun pics from the day.

Guest Blogger from Abagee and Papa for Avery
Avery, I can’t believe you are already 3 years old! The time has gone by so quickly. I remember when you were born and we were all at the hospital awaiting your arrival: PaPa, Aunt Krystal, Nana and I, and, of course your Mommy and Daddy too! What a beautiful little girl you were; I knew you would be very special to us all.
From the time I began taking care of you at 3 months old, until you and Mommy and Daddy moved to San Diego at almost 3 years old, you were the highlight of my days. When you left Las Vegas I was very, very sad; you were my little girl and I would miss you terribly. But I knew I would still get to see you as often as I could, although it wouldn’t be the same as seeing you almost everyday.
I loved taking care of you and watching you grow up to become your own little person. Being a part of your life during those early year milestones of cooing, smiling, crawling, standing, walking and talking was very special to PaPa and I. We remember them all!! Each day you were with me was delightful, no matter what we did (except for the time you fell off the couch, that was not at all fun, just scary!!) Thankfully you were ok!
As you became more ‘talkative’, everyday was filled with laughter and smiles at what you were trying to say. For a while, PaPa and I weren’t sure what you would “call ‘” us. But then you decided that I would be “Abagee” and Grandpa would be PaPa, (just like your other PaPa.) and we loved it!! I will always be Abagee to you and Kennedy
We are so thankful we were able to have you and your Mommy and Daddy living close to us for those years. It was a time in our lives we will never forget.
As you grow up, we will spend many more wonderful, fun-filled days together. PaPa and I are looking forward to those days! It will be such a delight to watch you develop into the beautiful person we already see. Our wish for you is a lifetime of love and happiness.
Lots of Love, Hugs and Kisses,
Abagee and PaPa

Kennedy 18 weeks
What a happy baby we have on our hands. She has truly become nothing but a smiley happy little girl who soaks in her surroundings everywhere she goes. she loves to be out and about and watch the world around her. She increasingly is becoming more and more busy by the day! When she is on her mat she rolls back and front and side ways and swats at her toys while putting just about anything in her mouth that she can get a hold of. With the amount of drewl coming from her mouth you would think that she is teething but I have not felt anything yet.
Kennedy is much more of a finicky sleeper than Avery ever was. She is still a great sleeper by all means but when she flips over in the middle of the night or early morning, I can't go stick her with the pacifier like I did with Avery. Most of the time I have to end up feeding her to get her back to bed. Realistically this is just a few times a week and I really don't mind getting a little extra middle of the night snuggle with her. She is still waking up around 530 and then eating and then going back to bed until about 8 or so. She is getting kinda big and heavy to sleep on me but I am going to ride this train as long as I can, they grow SO fast. Kennedy also is sleeping on her back at times as well. She has also officially found her feet and they stay in her mouth any chance that she can get!
My little baby is getting so big and so fast. It truly is bittersweet!

Kennedy 4 month check up
Kennedy passed with flying colors. Dr. Krause was amazed at how much she was doing at such a young age. When she put her on her tummy, she just about had her knees underneath her and ad flipped over in about 4 seconds. She also gave us the OK to start her on any food other than cereal since she already has pooping issues!
She spent most of the time cooing and smiling at the Dr and nurses until the shots came. She only cried for a few minutes and pretty much feel asleep right away in the car. I was a bit more prepared this time and gave her tylenol right away when we got home and off to sleep she went!
Here are her 4 month stats. As you can see she will probably be a bit taller than Avery:)
Here are her stats
Weight 15.8 pounds / 80th percentile
Height 27.5 inches / Over 100+ percentile (not even on the scale!)
Head 42 cm / 80th percentile
Avery's 4 month stats
Weight 16.3 pounds / 97th percentile
Height 25 inches / 90th percentile
Head 41 cm / 50th percentile

Kennedy 17 weeks
Little Kennedy sure is a smiley baby. She is getting so close to laughing and this week she was giggling quite a bit but the full on belly laugh has not come yet. She loves to play helpicopter and she is so sturdy when she flies in the air. She loves to stand as well and its crazy how strong she is! She seems so much skinnier than Avery was but we won't know for sure until her 4 month check up in a few days. She still loves her hands and won't take a pacifier! I guess it will be easier in the long run.
Kennedy is asleep most nights by 8, sometimes 730. She is sleeping until about 530 or 6 and then I feed her and she sleeps another hour or two. She still can't be awake for more than about 2.5 hours at a time before a nap is needed so depending on how long she sleeps depends on how many naps she takes. It is always at least 2 but sometimes 3. She is also doing much better at Nanas. She doesn't really cry there anymore and my mom is saving mad crying videos to show her how mean she used to be to Nana!
She is loving being in her exercauser and her back is getting stronger by the day. We prop her up with some blankets but before long she will be just fine. When she plays on her mat, she is all over the place! She flips from back to front and front to back and twists and turns and grabs at all of the toys. It is such a far cry from when she was a "tee tee" baby as Avery likes to say.
She also loves some of her toys these days and Gigi is becoming a fan fave!
We had a Easter party at the Ring's this week and both girls had a great time. Kennedy didn't want to sleep and miss out on things but before long she gave in and took a nice nap. We then headed up to my friends Angela's house who celebrated her twins 1st bithday. Big day of parties but both girls were great.
