January 2015

2015... Wow!

January was amazingly warm... We really are blessed with this amazing weather.  It was Christmas break through the second week of the month so we started the year out right with a few play dates. The kids have really started enjoying going to a place called Funbelievable so we headed there with some of our buddies.

Over the month we spent quite a bit of time outside enjoying the warm weather.

We went to see the Burnitz's and the girls love spending time there!  They always come home with lots of goodies.  It's also cute to see Kennedy be quite the flirt with Jake!

Avery turned 5 this month and we had a few celebrations. Aunt Boo took her to Disney on Ice.

We went to Disneyland and she got to go to the Anna and Elsa Boutique.  Kennedy hopped right up in the chair and was ready to go herself.  It won't be too long before she demands to go herself.

Lastly, we had a tea party for Avery with some of her friends.

Uncle Aaron and Stella came to San Diego to visit for Avery's birthday weekend.  Abagee came out as well so we had a full house full of little laughs and giggles.  It was just a taste of what life will be like with all these girl cousins!  Kennedy pretty much towers over her big cousin Stella who is about 10 months older than her.

On her actual birthday we had just our family over to our house for pizza and chicken wings!

Kennedy is as quirky as ever.  She says the funniest things and her little voice and mannerisms make us all laugh at her pretty much every day.  She has very good manners and says excuse me and please and thank you and pretty please if we say no... hearing pretty please is pretty hard to say no to.  Her hair is growing like crazy and she has the prettiest blonde hair with cute little ringlets at the bottom. The two of them play pretty nicely together for the most part but boy do they have their moments.

We spent the better part of the month applying to schools for Avery and doing testing and interviews.... needless to say it's been a bit stressful.  Only God know where she will end up but I will be very relieved when this process is over and we know what the next few years will look like.  I still can't believe that come fall Avery will be in kindergarden and Kennedy will be in preschool.

Where did our babies go!  I sure wish we could keep them little forever.
