Almost 9 months, can you believe it? Avery continues to be SOOO busy. I can not turn my back without her trying to get into something that she isn't supposed to. She clearly knows the word No now because when we say it, she will just turn and look at us smile. Sometimes no is enough to stop her but most of the time we still have to re-direct her to something else that peeks her interest. Her favorite things to get into are Sophey's water dish, the fridge, magazines, the trash can in the office, Sophey's dog beds, or climb under the kitchen table.
She still likes to show us how big she is with her arms up but sometimes I think that she is trying to take her clothes off too!
The Julianel's came out this weekend to visit and Avery and Gwen had a good time playing together. Most of the time Avery just stared at Gwen but they did actually interact quite a bit. It was pretty cute. We went to the pumpkin patch and it was a bit hard and hard to get a picture of the two of them but we had a good time!
We tried to re-create a picture that we took of them when Avery was a month old and Gwen was 4 months old... As you can tell it did not really work...
Here are a few others from the weekend
She still is going to bed between 7 and 8 and waking up around 6 or 630. She typically gets a solid 10 hours per night, sometimes a little more. She has two pretty solid naps during the day around 9 and 2. Jan is still watching her a couple of days a week which is really nice. She even had two sleepovers there this week as we had a wedding to go to as well as I hosted my book club at our house so she got to stay with Grammy and Grandpa! It sure was nice for all of us but I always miss her so much in the morning! Enjoy your week!
