November 2014

The last months of the year have been flying by. It seems like I blink and the month is over.  This is a busy time of a year but with an almost 2 year old and almost 5 year old, time passes right before your eyes.

Kennedy, our climber and jumper, somehow managed to bonk her tooth and end up with an slightly purple tooth.  It healed pretty quick but had us concerned that she may be missing a front tooth at a VERY early age… although it would be fitting for her.

I think most of us were convinced that Kennedy would not be into princesses but needless to say, she is pretty into them!  She loves her babies, wants to always change their diapers, rock them, and take care of them.  She may end up being pretty girly after all.

We had a few north county birthday parties one weekend so we decided to go to Disneyland for the day just the four of us which we don’t do very often but was really nice.  It was more crowded then we were used to since it was a Friday but for what we wanted to do, it was perfect.  We spent the night up there and then went to Reeve and Vance’s birthday and then went to Eden’s on the way home.  They had a great day but a busy two days to say the least.

The weather continues to be amazing and we are getting outdoors as much as we can trying to enjoy the warm days.  The kids love their park days and having play dates with their friends.

The Julianels were able to come down for the afternoon and the kids had a great time.  Sure wish they lived closer.

Daddy and Avery went to Las Vegas to pick up Maggie so that when Abagee comes she doesn't have to worry about getting someone to take care of her and she can stay longer.  Kennedy and I had a nice weekend alone and spent some one on one time which I think is very important for each of them.  We went to Sea World one day and it was just a blast!

Uncle Grant and Aunt Christi had their baby – Lily Dawn Magnuson.  She is just perfect and the girls are so excited to meet her and have a new baby cousin.

Avery had a couple of dress up days at school, which she loves!

We also celebrated Kennedy’s second birthday, which will have it’s own post.  Can’t believe our baby is two!

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Nana and Papa’s house and had a great time.  I was a bit under the weather but luckily the kids didn’t catch it and I was able to kick it pretty quick.

The day after Thanksgiving, Ben and I went to San Francisco for a nice weekend away. We had a really nice time, had decent weather, got to see some family, and have some much needed time away together.  We are so lucky to have family that takes such good care of the kids so that we can do stuff like this.

Another busy month full of memories and fun with these two little amazing girls!
