I can not believe that this is my second to last post before she actually turns a year old! Let's see, what went on this week. First things first, Avery got her 5th tooth! It is the top right next to her big tooth. She is beginning to have such a toothy grin! I love it!
Avery is such a mover and shaker. She really does not sit still unless we are in the car and she is watching an Elmo movie or she is going to bed. Other than that she does not sit still. In this picture she is watching TV but sitting on a piano dancing. Literally, she does not sit still! She is my little busy body!
Thursday night we drove out to San Diego since Ben had a baseball tournament in Riverside all weekend. We left again when she went to bed and all was well until we hit a freeway closure that made us detour to side streets and in turn woke up Avery. Needless to say she watched Elmo a few more times on the way home and decided that sleep was not important. Thank God for those car DVD players, they sure make traveling a lot easier!
Over the weekend Avery and I had a few play dates with some friends. My parents were actually out of town so Friday night turned into a playhouse with two of my friends and their daughters and my sister. We had dinner, played at the park, took baths. It was such a fun day!
Avery continues to love the boxes that things come in rather than what is actually in the box. It sure doesn't take much to please her!
This next week I will have to get a picture of Avery's hair as the back of it is getting so long and so curly. I am sure that she gets that from her Dad! Her big birthday party is this next week so I have a lot to do this next week to get ready!
Her schedule really hasn't changed much other than having a few mornings where she woke up at 5:30 AM. Not sure why she did that but at least its not every morning. The 5am hour just doesn't cut it for me! She continues to be an avid eater and pretty much enjoys all food, black olives as one of her favorites still!
