Avery had her three year check and passed with flying colors. This was her first real check up and her first time at her new pediatricians office. She brought her Doc McStuffins kit and walked in the office like she owned the place. To get started, she had to pee in a cup which she thought was a bit strange but took to it pretty well. Next she was weighed and measured and then they did a hearing test and a vision test. She did great. When Dr. Krause came in, she became chatty cathy as normal. When the Dr was checking her heart beat, Avery chimed in and said, "now take a deep breath, not breathe out. Your heart beat sounds just as pretty as you are." Dr. Krause thought that was pretty funny and had never heard that before. She did have to get her heel pricked to check her blood and they had to squeeze her heel to get some blood out and she did not like that. She cried for a bit and pretty much walked on her tip toe for the next day. She knows how to milk a booboo.
Overall, Avery is a really healthy little girl and we are truly blessed to have such a happy and healthy 3 year old!
