Ben and I have actually been able to go out on a few dates since my mom has been here as well. We went to the Train concert on Friday night. I sure love that band!
In Avery updates, she continues to be the busy bee that she is. She is standing longer, singing louder, and crawling faster. She gets more and more advanced each day. She can almost wave but we are still fine tuning that skill. She definitely knows when you leave the room now and tries to come and follow you. Hide and go seek is becoming a fun game of hers although Sophey loves to play that too and she will typically come and find you first!
Her sleep has been a little sporadic this week. She goes to sleep with no problem and sleeps all night but she sure is waking up early! Sometimes as early as five which is really not fun for me. I feed her and MOST of the time she falls back asleep until 6:30 or 7 but some days she doesn't. I was telling Ben that it will be nice when she turns 1 and switches to whole milk so when she wakes up in the AM he can go get her. At this point there is not much he can do in the mornings although he does always offer.
Avery really knows what she likes and doesn't like in terms of food. She will not eat certain things but others she will chow down on. Anything green is not on her like list that is for sure. She also does not like to get dressed after her bath at night. She has the funniest little annoyed cry where she is not crying tears but sure let's you know that she is not happy. She is such a funny little stinker that is for sure! You can pretty much get her to laugh on cue now and I just adore that little fat girl belly laugh that she has. It is my absolute favorite.
